World Health Organization Activities

The World Health Organization (WHO) is a specialized organization of the United Nations that is concerned with international public health. WHO works towards universal access to health products by fostering innovation based on public health needs and implementing a number of global initiatives for the development of drugs for unmet medical needs.

DDR has experience participating in WHO initiatives, including programs and certifications for communicable and noncommunicable diseases, such as the Pre-Qualification Program, the WHO Quality Certification Scheme and the WHO Pharmacovigilance Program.
